Simcoe Day Beaches.

It’s almost the long weekend! This Civic Holiday is also known as Simcoe Day in Toronto. So to celebrate this fact, we’re here to help list off all the beaches around our Simcoe Landing community in Keswick, Ontario that you could visit if you haven’t made any plans yet. After all, it’s looking HOT this weekend.

With 52km of Lake Simcoe shoreline, clear waters, and sandy beaches to enjoy and explore, people from all over the GTA come to Lake Simcoe to try and snag a spot. So get there early and explore the many outdoor water recreation opportunities available in Georgina!

Jackson’s Point Harbour 

West of Georgina Island at Bonnie Blvd, Jackson’s Point Harbour is the perfect destination whether you are just passing through, staying over, or visiting friends. It’s not only known for its beauty, but also its rich history. 

De La Salle Park

One of the larger beaches, come splash around at De La Salle Park Beach on Lake Simcoe. Amenities include: change rooms, public washrooms, drinking water, a soccer field, a roped off children’s area, and a picnic shelter with tables. There is also a grassy section located near the beach which could be used as picnic space. 

Holmes Point Park

Pack a picnic lunch and you’ve got a perfect summer afternoon. With picnic tables, a playground, and a beautiful sandy beach, Holmes Point Conservation Area is the perfect place to spend the day. 

North Gwillimbury Park

Formerly called Maple Leaf Park, North Gwillimbury Park is extremely family friendly. Spend the afternoon, spend the day, children and grown-ups alike can enjoy playground and picnic areas all meticulously maintained and monitored by the Town of Georgina. 

Willow Beach Conservation Area

A great place to take the family for the day, Willow Beach has picnic tables, a playground, and of course, a sandy beach perfect for splashing around under sun!
