Spooky Family Fun in New Seaton.

With Thanksgiving done and gone, Halloween is just around the corner, and the Pickering community couldn’t be more excited. Already getting ready for this spooky holiday, Pickering has a great line-up of Halloween themed activities leading up to the 31st.

Greenwood Conservation Area This Halloween event has been a community favourite for years. With activities such as horse-drawn wagons, a pumpkin patch for picking the perfect jack-o-lantern, face painting, bouncy castles, inflatable slides, live entertainment, and the Ajax Mazda Haunted House, Pumpkinville has something for everyone. Guests are also encouraged to take the “Pumpkinville Express”, which is a free shuttle bus with a direct route to the venue from Ajax Town Hall. Come out this Saturday October 14th for a day filled with family fun, and experience the thrills, chills, and spooky excitement Pumpkinville has to offer.

Fright at the Museum
Uxbridge Historical Centre Find items around the spooky Museum buildings and grounds to unravel a Halloween mystery. Also featuring carnival games, hot drinks, treats, and a bonfire, this interactive scavenger hunt is a great time for Halloween enthusiasts of all ages. Running on October 27th & 28th and only a toonie for admission, this amazing fun should not be missed.

Cannington Haunted Trail and Maze

Spirits of the Automobile
Canadian Automotive MuseumThe world of automobiles has its own share of spooky stories and colourful characters. On October 22nd & 29th, the Canadian Automotive Museum’s volunteers will bring to life some of their favourite stories from the collection of historic cars, using first person story telling. Presenting these haunting tales will be the carmakers themselves, such as John DeLorean, Sam McLaughlin, Lady Eaton, and more. Get behind the wheel of this creepy ride through the history of car manufacturing and the ghostly figures behind it.
