Toronto Summer Camps.

Summer’s here and school’s out. It’s the perfect time to get the kids in touch with nature and meet new friends; keep them active, entertained, and busy! Here are five of the many interesting Summer Camps available in and around Toronto and the GTA.

Harbourfront Centre

With over 70 different camp themes for ages 4–16, every child will find something they love here. The mission is simple: present artists, foster learning, deliver experiences and steward transformation. From Leadership and Sailing, to Performing Arts and Circus Arts, it’s a brilliant blend of crazy amounts of fun.

Kids Learning Code

For the computer whizzes or aspiring coders, this camp offers kids aged 6–12 everything from how to brainstorm a start-up idea to how to code an entire website. Girls-only and co-ed options are available.

SPFX Kids

For kids aged 9–13 who have vivid imaginations and a keen interest in fantastic creatures, this camp was made for them. SPFX Kids teaches children the art of special effects make-up from Scrapes Scabs and Scratches, to Fake Blood and Pimples.

Toronto Athletic Camp

If your children have so much excess energy that they're bouncing off the walls, then Toronto Athletic Camps are for them! They're spread out across Toronto and the GTA, so you can be sure to find one that's convenient for you to get to. From martial arts and gymnastics to football and basketball, let your children practice their skills or pick up a new favourite sport.

Zoo Camp

Who doesn't love animals? If your children could, they’d probably want to spend the whole day with them! Zoo Camp – unsurprisingly – let’s them do just that because it is set in Canada’s largest zoo, the Toronto Zoo! For 4–16-year-olds, Zoo Camp lets children see and learn about hundreds of animals, and gives them exclusive opportunities to meet Zoo keepers and have close encounters with outreach animals.

These are just five of the many exciting, adventurous camps happening around Toronto and the GTA this summer. After taking a look at these camps, we wish summer could last a little longer.
