All Eyes On Toronto: NBA All-Star 2016 .
NBA All-Star weekend is always an exciting time for basketball fans. The best of the best come together in one city to compete, interact with their fans, and party. The 2016 All-Star Game, which takes place on Valentine’s Day, is extra special though. This is the first time in its 65 years that the event will be held outside of the United States.
The city is already buzzing with activities, celebs and events, and there’s enough going on to keep you busy all weekend long. Below are just some of the things you can see and do.
Celeb Basketball Match
Kevin Hart will be challenging Drake at the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game on Friday at the Ricoh Coliseum. Who has the better coaching skills? We’ll find out at 7 p.m.
Space Jam Live Read
In honour of Space Jam's 20th anniversary, TIFF is hosting a live read of the Michael Jordan and Looney Toons classic on Saturday. Readers have not yet been announced, so stay tuned.
The main event, the East versus the West will pit some of the best players, including LeBron James and Dwyane Wade, against Stephen Curry and Kobe Bryant. We’re hoping the Raptor’s Kyle Lowry will help secure the win for the East! Catch the game Sunday at 8 p.m.
Muzik is hosting Maxim's big basketball party on Friday. Tickets will be hard to come by, but if you get in you'll get to see Shaq, Snoop Dogg, Kardinal Offishall and many other well-known celebs.
